Last week, we had the pleasure of working with MentorXChange on a corporate shoot and interview session in the heart of Mayfair. From insightful conversations to capturing sleek, professional visuals, this shoot was a fantastic experience that showcased the power of storytelling in the corporate world.
A Unique Location for a Professional Shoot
Our base for the day was the Holiday Inn, which turned out to be an unexpectedly perfect filming location. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to transform one of their rooms into a professional video production space. You’d never guess that behind the cozy setup, cameras were rolling, mics were wired up, and a full interview session was in progress!
Technical Setup: Bringing the Vision to Life
To ensure the highest production quality, we used a two-camera setup, allowing for dynamic angles and smooth transitions between shots. One of the highlights of our setup was the camera slider, which enabled us to capture cinematic gliding shots—perfect for setting an engaging and polished tone for the final edit.
For audio, we combined a clip mic (to capture clear, direct dialogue) with a shotgun mic (to provide natural ambient sound and depth), ensuring that every word was crisp and professional.
All cameras used were Sony A7’s, delivering sharp, high-definition quality that adds to the clean and corporate look MentorXChange was aiming for.
Post-Production Magic
Once filming wrapped, our work continued in post-production. Every frame was edited in Adobe Premiere, where we fine-tuned colors, transitions, and audio to create a seamless final product. The finished video was then exported via Adobe Media Encoder, ensuring a high-quality output optimized for professional use.
Final Thoughts
Working with MentorXChange was a fantastic experience, and it was great to help them bring their vision to life through video. Whether for corporate branding, interviews, or promotional content, a well-produced video makes all the difference in conveying a message with clarity, professionalism, and impact.
